tried blowing in XD also used a small pressure of air (airbrush compressor) but no help...

and im not that comfortable to put any liquids into my phone...

You could probably submerge your phone in WD40 and it would stil work. A pipe cleaner with a light spraying of it is totally safe. you can brush it with the dry end afterwards if it makes you feel any better.

a bit of update...

i played with connector a bit... when i plug it in i hear the sound on left side.. if i move it a bit.. i hear the sound on right side XD... so i guess contacts in there are oke... they are working... but they are a bit apart... will dismantle it and just pull those springs a bit closer so they both touch headphone connector when i plug it in =)


just gotta find new scredriver cuz n900 has new types of screws that werent on older models...

oh yeah

fixed it...

made that new scredriver out of some old one... grind it a bit to fit---desperate times desperate measures...

problem was in those little springs that goes from AV connector to motherboard... they were bent left n right.... so there was no good contact with motherboard... guess an error while mounting the device in factory =/


anyways... works perfectly now...
