Are you sure you are using devel and not testing?
I guess Carbon is still work in progress right? I noticed a small bug, when I press power button to swipe unlock the slider is quite long and when you stretch it looks ugly and unpolished , are you aware of that issue? or is its because of PR 1.1.1 ?

I agree, you shouldn't flood the repo's with different colours, so i think either make the blue text lighter, eg. white or light blue, or give instructions for people to edit themselves, which would save you the trouble. good work with the theme, its my default also convo colours are a bit funny looking. Me is like a cyan blue, and the recipient is green. Doesnt match well with the grey theme. Maybe light blue and light grey ?

Or why not give us the choice with a Carbon Blue and Carbon Orange theme ?
The buttons are really cool.
