I know there is already an app for recording just everything that uses pulseaudio incl. the telephone app itself. But what i dream for is somewhat different:
What if your voice calls (PSTN or VoIP) will be recorded automatically at demand (maybe enabled for individual contacts and/or foreign calls) and afterwards magically inserted in the conversation list just like any sms, email and chat.

Of course, legal considerations may be a point when recording any random call, but i think its geek anyway.
