Hello, forum. I really need some advice for my wife.

We have T-Mobile US and she really needs a new smartphone. We want to continue to use our T-Zones 5.99 internet, so she needs a non-T-Mobile branded phone. We tried a myTouch 3g, but since it was T-Mobile branded the internet stopped working and told us we needed to upgrade the data plan.

The n900 (which I have) works fine with the internet package, but it's not really a device that she'd do well with. She really needs a more consumer-ready product. She also prefers no QWERTY keyboard.

T-Mobile 3g is preferred, but we're realistic that that won't be possible staying away from T-Mobile phones.

Do you have any suggestions as to a device? Used is fine. Please help! I was pretty excited that the myTouch was working, then the message appeared and my search is restarting.

Also, it turns out that we have a myTouch for sale Pretty near perfect condition; it also has been upgraded to cyanogen's 5.0.7 mod (Android 2.1).

thanks, but she really doesn't want a QWERTY. Also, I think her first choice is probably Android, and Nokia hasn't really earned my repeat business quite yet.

How nice of a phone are you looking for? The only info you've given us is Android and no qwerty which limits to only a bunch of phones.

Not sure if T-mobile has the equivalent of the Verizon's HTC Incredible, but my girlfriend got the HTC Incredible and she loves it.

Yeah I was going to suggest the HTC Desire, which is the GSM equivalent of the Verizon's Incredible

Well, it would be great if we could get it new or used for under $350. Any more than that and we'd be in N1 territory.

May be a little expensive for our needs. She's not a "power user" by any means... She pretty much just needs a nice browser, google integration (talk, latitude, mail, calendar, etc), and a nice facebook app.
