Odd. I find the "microb-browser" update in app manager but it's telling me:
"Update available but not installable"

Problems tab shows the following app packages missing:
microb-engine (>=1.0.3-12)
libpcap0.8 (>=0.9.3-1)
ncurses-base

I go into red pill mode and get the same thing.
WTF?

Like I said, the update isn't ready yet but soon. I don't see the update you see, apparently.

I'm curious why a web browser engine needs libpcap?

Update seems to be ready (complete) now.

Did the upgrade, seems OK so far. Not noticed any new problems or fixes yet (couple of minutes testing).

Updated and it is still exhibiting the same buggy keyboard behavior and crashing to desktop when trying to instantiate a lot of flash objects. Trying to browse with Flash enabled is like play Russian Roulette with very few bullets missing.

I'm going to cobble together a basic changelog in a little while. Backspace while typing in a text entry field no longer makes the browser go back a page.

Never seen a problem with flash.

Try going to escapepod.org with flash enabled and then scrolling down the page once loaded so that a flash object scrolls onto the screen. Browser instantly disappears, leaving only a "Internal error. Application 'Web' closed." error. That site exhibits that behavious 100% of the time with flash enabled and 0% when disabled.

Yeah, you're right. I was able to reproduce the problem. Have you filed a bug about it yet?

It doesn't. It just so happens that an update for libpcap was pushed.
