The company I work for (Andago), is porting its native Android monitoring and health care mobile assistant as a webapp that will run on MeeGo/Qt. We have it already working in Android, and we have done some early tests.

You could see how the early Android version looked like, but I think it is quite old, and many things have changed since then.

Our idea is to release it during next months, and ready for N900 (Maemo 5 >= PR 1.2 or MeeGo).

Looks nice.

It seems more of a calendar application rather than an evidence based medicine resource, but yeah, thanks for posting this.

Hey Bec, I was going to go back over all of my med apps for Garnet later tonight.

I've only got an 8 meg gvm.store file, but with the 800 megs of .pdb files that go with this, it takes about 45 seconds to load.

I was thinking of shaving a bunch of junk off, like all of my Cochrane reviews, since I can just access those on the net.

Anyway, I was wondering if we could hook up somewhere and share our setups, findings and resources.

Well I tried to create a garage project to host the dictionaries but the site was having issues at that time. I guess we could try and create one again or continue over here.

Hiya Bec!

Well shoot, was hoping to get that done last night but fell short due to a distraction.

It's hard for me to ever keep a promise of when I'll be online.

Anyway, if I ever catch your name being active here, I'll shoot you a PM and maybe we could have time for a chat together.

I bought N900 hopeful for more. The deal breaker was my inability to receive work email. No provisioning in N900 that my Medical Center requires. And no, there are no med applications on N900.....check out iPhone 3GS

Hi there, another medic here.

I used to use differential diagnosis and kumar and clark's clinical medicine on my old Nokia E90 (symbian).

What would be useful is a collection of medical calculators.

Would have thought it would be easy to program.

Tempted to use python and shell to make a simple one for myself.

Duncan.

Epocrates is my drug books, and there is NO drug Epocrates does NOT know. And sure, there are all kinds of goodies on Epocrates drug book, they are medical calculator, medical tipbits, infectious drug use, and a Note to save whatever you care to save.

These ALL work well on my N900, I have reference text, medical journals, drug books, there is NO medical conditions my N900 cannot handle.

Oh sure, ask a medical question that is NOT on this post ,
