i just uninstalled and install it again. but the problem is still there.

i tried to open it in the menu , but it opens up, then after 2seconds it closes and return to desktop....

why is this happening =(
I'm using transition control and don't have this problem. I think it must be a transition control issue, not an overclocking control issue.

Try to "dpkg -configure -a" looks like some package are broken.

If not. Then post the "var/lib/dpkg/available" near line 1282. In terminal "leafpad /var/lib/dpkg/available". You can change the preferences in leafpad to show line numbers. Do the same with "var/lib/dpkg/available-old". The file might have been corrupted and you need to edit it to get it fixed.

PR 1.2 is out!

i have titan's enhanced kernel, for people in the UK with titans kernel, could you confirm that everything is okay after the update or should I use nokia's kernel just to be safe?

I did ask this in one of the new PR1.2 threads but no reply yet. I'd imagine that the update will overwrite the kernel so no idea what we'll be left with.

Titan - would you advise an uninstall (if so, what's the best way) or just letting the update run and then reinstalling your enhanced kernel config (again, n00b guide would be great as I'm not fully terminal literate just yet!).

Thanks!

http://wiki.maemo.org/Kernel_Power#U...ng_to_a_new_PR

I'm just uploading a new kernel with the latest PR1.2 patches.
These patches are minor bugfixes and even the stable v24 from extras should work with PR1.2.

Hi

What's the best way to uninstall the power-user kernel? Just hit the icon called "Deinstall Kernel-"?

Sorry, total n00b here.

Thanks.

yes, if you have a kernel more recent than v27.
