Hey....Now I am Done with the UPDATE through NSU......The PHONE is back to Stone age Specs and Default setting.....
I am Restoring the backup i took....Now THE PROBLEM Is...Communication and Calendar has some issue with replacing few files...Saying"That some backup file restored is Older than whats present In the new update" STRANGEEEEEE...I said NO for replace...and the restoraton has gone slow.......damn what is this all about!!!

I started downloading using ota... Then when it had 1% left.. A message appeared saying "maemo 5 download failed" ..?why??!!

tried again.. and it downloaded 407 kB!!.. and started installing the update.. wierd??

did not work for me with Nokia Software Updater , tried many times... N900 screen goes white aith USB icon for long time and then NSU shows error message. I updated with flasher, it went fine.

Hi everyone
first off sorry for being a first timer for this (Im sure I have just made a stupid mistake)
however I fear that I have messed up in a major way
after CMT has flashed succesfully
i typed in the commands as shown (way back on the first page)
but instead of continuing to flash pr 1.2
the cmd line reads "suitable usb device not found, waiting"
however before it can "find" the usb device (obv my n900)
my n900 reboots and is left spinning through the white circles.....
can anyone please help me!!!
once again this is my first time flashing
however I believe that I followed every instruction to the letter
ps I am however flashing with the USA version
but I made the appropriate changes to the code
pps I am using win 7 x86

Just download latest Nokia Pc Suite....and in that select Nokia Software Updater. and do as instructed.
DONT FORGET TO BACK UP UR PHONE!!!
