Hello guys,

I can't update my N900 through Nokia Software Updater, neither OTA!

Made a back up through pc suite, all went well!

But when I tried to update with NSU, it stopped at 33.6 MB.

I'm a Vodafone customer. Could it have something to do with it? I heard Vodafone can delay updates, or something?

I hope someone has the answer, pre-thanks a lot!

Hey! Mine stops at 33.6 mb too! Weird.

I'm in Denmark, so it can't be a Vodafone thing, we don't have Vodafone in Denmark.

If you have wifi connection, restart your device then you can update via FOTA

Thanks for the replies!

No, it is probably not a Vodafone-issue!

I posted some more threads about my previous problem: my app manager does not work anymore. 'No applications vailable' : that's why I want to update my phone with pc!

And I will, I think we have to be patient: Nokia servers are running and rinning.

I'm gonna give it a try in about.. 2 hours!

Wish me luck!

MOC, shall we wait together? (=

Tablet mode?
FOTA?

It nice that you try to help, but I'd say that's kind of fuzzy explained.

I have the exact same issue. OTA says I need to use NSU, and that one stops at 33.6 MB.

So what is "tablet mode"?'
What is FOTA?
f*cked over the air?

What do you mean by removed everything from your device? Uninstalled all apps? I'm not sure, but I don't think I have too little rootfs.
How much do I need?

Look, I don't want an over the air update. I want a clean update, which I though that the Nokia Software Updater did. (A reflash).
So, would someone explain what the hell is going on. Why can't I update using the Nokia Software updater as it stops every time at 33.6 MB.
Seriously, how hard can this be.

EDIT: Nokia Software Updater is the main single purpose application intended for upgrading the Nokia N900 and that one fails every time. If that is because the user first has to clean up his apps, then talk about epic fail!
