I agree, this is just pure crap.
BTW, uninstall / reinstalling the PC updater didn't help either.
Wtf is this?

we could do a hard-reset too to clean all after update ^^
(sorry for my bad english)

anyway I had the same problem and then i saw this words on a post whiches make possible my OTA update :

uninstall this programmes before launch app upgrade
gltron
tux racer
teeworld
brainparty
freeoffice
openarena
countdowntimer
wikihow

I just unistalled tux racer (the only one of the mentioned Programms I had installed) and now the update is running OTA.

I don't have any of those installed and I'm still getting the not enough memory error.

edit : j-a-k, many others possibilities, devels programmes, devels repos to disable, etc...

I can'nt delete any apps with the appmanager! Is there a way to delete apps with the terminal? Must be!

This is weird, so many people for who it doesn't work!

you are right. literally took less than 3 minutes or less.

The guide looks scary because of the command prompt with eMMC flash.

eMMC is not necessary if I don;t want to clean up my storage. Therefore, 3 minutes is more than enough.
