That's something I want to do, but haven't yet done. Need to do some more research on cairo and such...

Do you mean when reading articles? That should be fairly doable, to add something as the title.

1. Text selection is tricky to do, I don't have any good solution to enable that in a useful way.
2. You can add articles to the Archived Articles (there is a button available when reading an article), and it will download the whole article at the next update, and stay there until you remove it (note that I just uploaded a fix for that in extras-devel, coming to -testing soon).

I'm having trouble installing this on PR1.2 Global

I've reflashed my phone so I'm starting from scratch and one of the first things I wanted was FeedingIt. when I try to install it it says the package "libxslt1.1(>=1.1.18)" is missing.

Anyone got any ideas on what I've done wrong?

Thank you

Edit: Nevermind, not sure what I've done but for some reason now it'll install. Weird. At least I can use FeedingIt again

I think that library is in the official Nokia repository. So most likely, something happened that it couldn't download it (either they were messing with the repository, or maybe your device didn't update its cache, or something like that). But I'm glad to hear it's working now.

The latest update with the Desktop widget is awesome - I like it!

Here's a sneak preview of how the feed list and item list could look like when realized with GtkTreeView instead of buttons. I've submitted the patches to Yves already, let's see if they get accepted

the latest version with pr1.2 crashes a lot for me, always when i open it in the embedded browser when clicking on the feedlink and then start scrolling, this is the error:

/opt/FeedingIt $ FeedingIt
FeedingIt.py:937: GtkWarning: gdk_drawable_set_colormap: assertion `cmap == NULL || gdk_drawable_get_depth (drawable) == cmap->visual->depth' failed
gtk.main()
Aborted

Well even better- with the tree view article headers could be sorted in the tree and the feed could be folded and unfolded by clicking the feed node.
This would not even spoil usability as double clicking could open the article list like before. Oh, well, I already mentioned this a few days ago
