hey guys I just bought a 1500mah battery on ebay it was shipped from the UK

Code:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=150434893946&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT

now my problem.

On my old nokia original battery the desktop command execution widget was showing 1294 something around in MAH

now when I put this one it's showing 694 mah

something is not right? is it fake ? or this battery will show 694 it's extended and it will work like 1500? Im not sure.

Just after restarting the phone (after x terminal bat status thingy was run)

Simple answer (as I guess you're after that):

It's a cheap Chinese knock-off and they're basically outright lying about the mAh rating. They'll probably tell you it needs "conditioning" with a few charge cycles but that's a lie too. Essentially, you'll never better the original Nokia battery unless it's physically bigger with a different back cover (eg Mugen). Anything else is just a con and you'd be better off with a spare genuine Nokia battery.

Sorry.

No offense mate, but it may aswell have had chinese symbols on it and come with a free set of chopsticks.

The fact that it has actually arrived and itsnt made out of play doh is a bonus i suppose.

Buy a original Nokia battery and simple swap it when your primary one is empty, still the best way to get the double runtime You get original ones for around 15€~

Just try it for one day, is the life of it comparable to the original? I have used chinese batteries better than nokia ones on my N-gage

The supposed fakes I bought are almost undistingushable from the real ones. In fact, I don't distinguish them, just use them like the original. I suspect they are from the same factories that make the real ones.

Anyway there are situations when you just need a replacement, real or fake.

Sorry to spoil it but to find example 1500mah li-ion battery sized same as Nokias 1320mah is too small to be mentioned.
At best you might get about same battery as Nokias or a bit longer lasting where some of the safety components have been taken and in time the battery starts to swell(in worst case broking your phone or worst).
