Well, thatīs exactly what i did, but it seems that setting "limits" doesnīt touch avoid frequencies. I could use the "lv profile", but "ideal" works fine for me.

I updated to PRD1.2 (without reflashing)all was smoth, till I upgraded kernel from 34 to 37. Since then my UI is laggy.
I'm using default profile. On ideal is working perfect, but I installed it to have some extra features, and I don't want to run overclocked phone when not needed.
I was trying to deinstall kernel before PRD1.2 with menu shortcut. It failed but i did OTA update and then updated kernel via app manager(there were new version)
after it i tryed :
apt-get install --reinstall kernel-power kernel-power-modules kernel-power-flasher
but no use.
The most significant slowdowns is when I'm entering to menu.
Most times I can't see animation or can see just few frames from it.
How deinstall shortcut works?
Can you have smooth interface on default settings?

I am root and I have power settings installed. Going to try to reboot and reinstall power settings. I did my PR 1.2 update OTA, maybe that's the culprit? I really would rather not have to reflash
Btw, this is the first time I have tried OC'ing I had the standard kernel before PR 1.2

Had my first reboot ever today, PR1.2 + v37@ideal, but could be a pr1.2 problem, who knowsRan ideal in pr1.1 aswell
But cant help thinking it could be those "long term side-effects" to overclocking starting to show up allready.

Sorry guys but i have a quick question..
I used to have my N900 overclocked at 900Mhz via command and VI editor and later with the CPUFreqUI app before the 1.2 update, but now that i want to overclocked it again i am a little bit confused..
So witch versions of power kernel nad power stuffs i have to grap and install with the PR 1.2??I had read a lot of problems like random reboots so i don`t know if there is a safe and stable costum kernel to use..I ll use the CPUfreqUI or go manual again..

I flashed both my eMMC and system with the new files and installed kernel-power-settings (which sets up all necessary dependencies). After that and some playing with setup, I ended up with ideal kernel running 500-1100mHz ... and everything is fine ... I dont use that cpufrequi though ...
