Unhappy with PR1.2 and the features and functions still missing from the N900?
Lets make a PR2.0 wishlist.

- Systemwide portrait mode
- 3G video calling
- STK support
- Ovi Maps voice guided navigation
- Full Ovi.com support, including online syncing
- On-screen portrait mode QWERTY
- Customizable ring tones for contacts and contact groups
- Ability to make custom contact groups
- Ability to make custom folders in apps menu
- MMS
- FM radio receiver
- 720p HD video recording
- Full Facebook and Twitter apps and desktop widgets
- MeeGo?

I know there are 3rd party apps that can do some of this list, but it would be preferable that Nokia provide such functionality, so it could all be better intergrated into the OS and other Nokia apps...

What else is missing?
Thoughts

I'd like to wish for PR2.0

(seeing as I haven't even seen any mention of further updates)

Best place for such a list is in the Meego area surely.

Don't think we will ever see a v2 of Fremantle

All that you said i wish for ESPECIALLY > OVI Maps 3 and 3G Video calling.

P.S: Nokia might not make N900 full portrait coz of Keyboard and As its MOSTLY a tablet and phone second.

Software can never update hardware, how can they add 720p recording when the cam is only 5MPs? (actually less than 5MPs due to the size of the lens)

What's wrong with PR 1.3 to 1.9 that we need to jump over them?

5MP is 2592 × 1944
720p is 1280 x 720
so where is the problem with the cam hardware?

of course the processor can't handle it.

720p is only 1280x720. That's not even 1MP. Samsung I9000 Galaxy S mobile phone can record and play back 720p H264 videos with a 5MP camera. (and nearly the same CPU but at 1GHz) Samsung OmniaHD can record 720p HD videos using identical OMAP3430 as N900. It's all in the drivers and software limitation for the N900 currently imho.

Even the one of highest end Canon 1080i Full HD video camera has a sensor which does less than 2MP. (Canon XH A1S)
