updated my wifes n900 and cant see much that would really benefit me and i read page after page of issues with the new update so should i even bother updating???? hmmmm......

Yes always update to the latest firmware. If you want to play safe, then flash your phone to the latest one.

Yes, you should.
It contains a big bunch of bug fixes and a few new features. It is good.

"if it aint broken do not fix it", and KISS-principle tells you (and me) we shouldn't.
However, just for the excitement, I think I will upgrade next week when I can take the risk more lightly.

its your phone you decide whether to update or not !! neways its as the guy above said i am happy the way its working too

dont do it.i would wait until a new firmware release comes with a few bugfixes.IM,speed and battery improvement.maybe pr1.21

Fixing something which aint broken.

There is always a risk doing big upgrades in IT-systems.
And I need my N900 to work these next days. If something goes wrong in the upgrade, I wouldn't have time to concentrate solving the problems. Also the extra applications has to be re-installed.

Is it a big or small risk, I do not know or much care. I just know I am wise not to take it currently. I've learned my lessons with IT-systems before.
