going back to topic i would rather go for the dell streak. its a little bigger than n900 (great) so makes web browsing and videos so much more fun.

or go for the nokia 3g tablet. running meego ofcourse

@afaq: I think the two biggest market for tablet/slate is tied to their physical form factor..

1. pocketable, which most users will want to double as their cellphone also.
2. notepad size, which will be the closest thing to our 'e-paper dream' just yet... this cannot be less than 7".

Oh, Don't be a storm in a teacup!

Besides iPed, now there are many of XPad coming into markets. For example, WePad, WiiPad, APad, EPad and TouchPad etc.

Though those XPad are knockoffs, while for those iPad fans who are not willing to plunk their $500 down for iPad, that means there are more options for them.
