The volume control is silly. There is no reason to have to scroll to get from 0% to 100%. That is a waste of time. Using a whole menu item row for each entry is a massive waste of screen real estate. A grid of 20 buttons would be better (but still bad). A slider like everyone else in the known universe uses would be nice. A wheel would be cool too. Anything but an inertial menu.

The seek control could be worse... Being able to jump to a specific time is nice. But when I just want to jump to "the middle", that is harder with a menu than with a slider of some sort, because first I have to figure out the approx time index of the middle. Also, it takes longer to use.

I agree on the Seek Control. Let that be a slider.
Volume Control. Where? Maybe i'm screen blind, but i don't see a Volume Control.

Hit one of the rocker keys at the top of the n800. They trigger the VolumeView. We need an OSD button for this.

Actually, I'm more inclined to make volume a vertical slider. I don't think the sliders work well for seek as longer audio files (like audio books) tend to jump too far as the slider is moved (like, increments of 10 minutes or so).

I intend to allow zooming in/out of our seek widget's timeline to increase/decrease the time step amount per item in the list. I suppose I could zoom a slider too though.... hmmm....

I've opened a ticket for this: https://www.guardiani.us/projects/kagu/ticket/78

Found it!! That's a weird way to adjust the volume. Looks like you like iPhone, eh??

I just use the rocker keys on the top. For me the Volume View can go and the Seek Control can me a (very precise) slider.

That's a common misconception. I've never held an iphone, and I don't have a clue how they work. It's purely thoughtful design behind the scroll widget. It seems to make intuitive sense on a touch screen.

How can I say this nicely? I can't.
It's beyond horrible.
It's the Paris Hilton of volume/seek controls: vapid, stupid, and should be someone's beotch in prison.

Other than that, great program!
