Hi,

In the nokia site, http://www.nokia-asia.com/support/pr...ort/nokia-n900, it states:

Latest software release for Nokia N900 is 10.2010.19-1 *Skype and Google video calls
Facebook IM chat
Improved Maps
Portrait browsing
Improved email

How do I browse in portrait, been tinkering and searching. can someone provide the steps.

Open MicroB browser. Open a webpage, eg. Yahoo! Then click on the box on the bottom right hand of the browser. Click on the "Title" bar (in this example "Yahoo!" to go into the browser settings. Touch "Options." Touch "Settings." Check "Enable rotation."

For some reason this doesn't work for me. The sensors do work, because in the photo viewer photos do rotate when I rotate the N900. Any ideas as to why rotating doesn't work in the browser? Should I reboot the machine?

No, I have the latest and greatest. I checked it just after the N900 arrived in my house, and yesterday I checked again.

Did you have your keyboard slided out? Photo viewer rotates always but for browser the keyboard has to be closed for it to rotate.
