I'm having trouble with a Samsung WEP 850. The 850 supports HSP, and HFP. The HFP functions aren't working: it doesn't disconnect when a call ends, and the redial doesn't work either.

I guess it's using the HSP profile--it's also got a headset icon when connected, and it's referred to as a headset on the dialpad. Is there any way to get the HFP features to work?

Hi can,

Thank you for e-mailing the Nokia Care Contact Center.

Based on your concern, we recommend using only nokia accessories for the N900 so as to prevent any compatibility issues that may occur.

I hope the information provided proves useful.

If you have any additional question, please don't hesitate to contact us again. To ensure proper handling of your case, kindly continue using the current subject line.

Thank you very much for your email. Have a great day.

Best Regards,

Now contact the Motorola specialist and she will say that Motorola devices should only work perfectly with Motorola devices

I wanted to post an update to this thread to find out if my current experiences have been noticed by others.

Since doing a clean and fresh Flash upgrade of the OS and eMMC to PR 1.2, a lot of my BT issues are resolved. My Jawbone Prime that was unusable before is perfect and crystal clear. My Blueant Q1 that had unresponsiveness problems where the earpiece would "freeze" up and become not usable till it was restarted/power cycled. also seems to work better.

Anybody else noted some of their BT issues were resolved?

Sorry to hear that, because it drove me crazy for sure.

I was committed and have the Tee shirt to prove it!

I had problems with my Nokia BH-804 handsfree, it completely disconnected from N900 within couple of hours from connecting. It was useless because of that. It's fixed in PR1.2 and finally it works as it should! Though the battery of the BH-804 lasts less than 2 days even if I don't speak a lot. I think it comes out of standby mode everytime I otherwise just use my phone and counts as if I would be speaking. I tried disabling all system sounds so it wouldn't need to play those, but it didn't help. And I can't call by just sayng recipient's name. But I'm happy that the hf mainly works, I just have to charge my hf every night just like I do with the N900...

I have the nokia BH-700 and it had been working fine until the PR 1.2 update.

It disconnects after an hour or so and when I am trying to reconnect I get the "unable to connect to BH-700" message.

I assume it's a PR 1.2 issue because it never happened before the update.

I would expect better connectivity and compatibility at least with nokia BT headsets

Following updating to PR 1.2 my Bluetooth connection to my Nokia ck-300 car kit is still a problem.

To recap from my post (http://talk.maemo.org/showpost.php?p...&postcount=115) - the problem is when I disconnect the car kit the phone becomes sluggish to respond, I get an error when trying to play music and a similar error when I try to use the camera. The problem is solved by restarting the phone.

The temporary solution to suspend WLAN with "WiFi Switcher" no longer works since updating to PR 1.2. The only solution is to not allow the phone to connect to the car kit, doing this makes it a little pointless having a car kit.

I haven't done a fresh install of PR 1.2. Do you think this is necessary?

Can anyone offer any other pearls of wisdom?

I don't think you'll know for sure until you do a fresh install.

I had all 4 of the Jawbones that would not work well and now they are fine after a fresh install of 1.2.

I was VERY surprised my stuttering audio was resolved. I didn't see much about anything that would explain this in the changelogs.
