So guys N900 has very nice default wallpapers , however most of them have Artists name on it As much as I "love" copyright content and amazing job that they did I think its kinda lame to have them. Is there any particular reason why Nokia had to keep them?

p.s. I'm not whining or asking how to remove them (hint MS Paint ) I'm just curious

Artists usually sign their work

Of course but I had other devices with preinstalled wallpapers and I never saw such thing

Those artists didn't want to?
The wallpapers could just be stock images.
