There's no point in bashing me because I prefer the VKB now. I really don't get your point. There are people that prefer the VKB now and you can't deny that. Therefore, it is a matter of personal preference.

If i type faster with the new VKB, am I supposed to suddenly agree with you because you don't like it? I don't get that logic. It is still my opinion. It won't change because you don't agree with it.

I meant that mine rotates now. Maybe it is a bug. Has anyone been able to reproduce it?

now, it's almost impossible. the context menu almost always disappears when you lift your finer, so it's hard to tell whats in the menu and how to select it.
This problem already existed before the PR1.2 update and they simply haven't fixed it (yet.)
Although they did a good job on PR1.2, it is a total mystery to me how they could have left that "bug" in there.

Yes. Very dissapointing and annoying, especially since it was zippy fast in the leaked unfinished PR1.2.

Other then that I haven't found anything in the firmware that has gotten worse or has changed in a way I wish it didn't.
Very happy with PR1.2 overal and cannot wait for the next update since there is plenty to optimize and fix I am sure.
For me that would be the context menu dissapear after finger lift problem and the slow App Manager thing.
I run into these uncomfortable annoyances a lot on daily use.

I haven't noticed the size change. That's why I said, "they don't seem smaller"

....and you don't get the fact that I don't agree with you? Am I supposed to? Liking the new VKB is a matter of personal preference. It's like saying you don't get how somebody could prefer an iPhone to the n900. Personal preference

As I said: It happened before PR 1.2, but it got much worse.

Before PR 1.2, you could prevent the context menu from disappearing with a little practice. It worked liek 60% of the time.

Now it almost always disappears. I think I remember 3 or for occasions when it would remain visible after I lifted my finger.

right - this one is really annoying. you double-tap on a paragraph and the first thing happens is that the page zooms out so much that you can't even see the lines any more...

also, it seems to me they don't detect blocks and paragraphs as well as they used to. even if the damn thing zooms in like it should, it doesn't fit the width of a text block.

bad. bad bad bad.

it needs to show where there's room for it - you cannot have it appear on the top/left of where you pressed when the item you clicked is located on the top left of your screen.

(also, even if you could set a preference for this depending on whether you're left or right handed, it may be that this one click was performed with the other hand...)

this is why it needs to remain visible as soon as you take your finger off the screen. no other solution possible.

Hi,
i have noticed that the release has made my N900 really slow and frustrating it has some kind of delay which is annoying, how can you go from good to bad. Not impressed at all i think i will revert back to the pr1.1
