Hello there!

I've got a little problem. The network at my work uses a proxy server to access the internet. But it needs authentication (username and password) to work. Everytime I try to access the web, I'm prompted with a request for those, which is annoying but works. But I can't use the internet for anything else, since I don't get to do the authentication. And I can't configure the authentication on the connection settings menu. Is there any way to change this setting?

Thanks!

I'm reviving this thread since I found no answer and the bug I thought was related to my problem was resolved but I still can't configure the authentication for proxy servers, so at my work I'm only able to use the browser, since it does the authentication everytime I open it.

I don't know if I understood correctly, but the bug I posted above was about the development enviroment, not the actual device. Is it even possible? I'm really confused here...

I would probably say it's not possible as there are no options for log in details for the proxy config in the network settings.

Even something like firefox doesn't have any log in details for the proxy setup, so seems like logging into a proxy is not common at all. I ran squid for around a year and don't remember anything about setting up a login, it was IP based.
