Why doesn't it updates the free space as I have deleted quite a few programs and also the game.
Most programs don't use much rootfs space - the bulk is installed to /opt instead. Generally rootfs space gets used up by libraries, so it's only when you've uninstalled all programs using a library that the space can get freed up.

Thanks
Or
I think you just sent me your debug.tgz file?

If so, you need to uninstall these packages:

teeworlds
brainparty
gltron

Then you should be able to upgrade

vicegerent:

Open these two links on your phone
http://chris.intrepid.cx/N900/debug.sh
http://chris.intrepid.cx/N900/diskspace.sh

Save BOTH files into the Documents folder on your phone..

Open an X terminal and run

sh MyDocs/.documents/debug.sh

Wait for it to finish.. it will take AGES

Then run:

sh MyDocs/.documents/diskspace.sh MyDocs/debug.tgz

This will show you a table..

The first column is the package
The second is how much rootfs space that package is using
The last column is how much emmc space that package is using

The largest rootfs space users appear at the top..

That might give you a clue as to which packages you need to remove..

If you follow the debug link I posted earlier, I can help you more (it involves sending me the debug.tgz file)

Hi cpitchford,

I didn't had to do anything. I just checked the link you have posted from Nokia forums.

In that thread Paulfp said he also faced problem with not enough memory and disabled extras-devel and extras-testing.

So I did the same too and once I disabled these two the rootfs memory shot upto 43mb (or 46mb) and voila I manage to download the firmware direct on N900 itself without having to connect to the PC and it has installed successfully!
