Hey I know that there is alot of synth and music making type apps
but there doesnt seem to be a drum machine app put there

I was wondering if any where under development

A six configurable button setup is ideal

snare
high-hat
bass drum
cymbal
toms
etc....

It would be ideal for low budget djs or anyone who wants to impress friends with a simple beat they can make on their n900

Looping is something to consider so we could loop a bass and snare beat and add like cymbals and toms into the beat as its playing.

Only an idea would need help with programming and such

any ideas?

Do you kow about Hydrogen? It's super-cool.

It might be a tad too advanced for the N900, but in this thread they say they've gotten it to run "fairly well" under easy debian on the n900.

This thread even believes it might be possible to have an entire studio in your pocket.

@mikec
Any eta on that functionality in maesynth hitting extras-testing?
