I just installed a theme but hate the colour scheme on it and few other things but i really love how the square boxs was remove from all the icons, is there any way i can do this on any theme? Cheers

In the upper right part of the maemo.org web page you have a SEARCH menu - use it!

You can try an-droid theme - the square boxes are almost invisible.

Yeah it is in the customize maemo thread. But thread is like a thousand posts long so you wont have much luck finding it. I have the file but don't for the life of me know how to send it . Think you need to put it in some 96x96 folder.

just delete the background icon from the themes folder, if you use winscp you can see the various images that make a theme and mix them up, creating your own theme

Look in "/usr/share/themes/<your theme>/images/" should have the name "ApplicationShortcutApplet.png" and "ApplicationShortcutAppletPressed.png"

Make those transparent or something els and you should be fit.
