Is there any way to install apache on the 770?
Or any web server for that matter. PHP (or even rails) and some form of SQL would make for great apps without people having to learn how to program C.
thanks

I'd love to know about doing this, but surely it's already running some form of apache since it refers to itself as 'localhost' in the browser when you're looking at stored webpages.

"localhost" is just a standard alias that the tcpip world uses to mean 127.0.0.1, nothing to do with webservers. I too am wondering about putting apache on the N800, with php, anyone, surely can't be too hard for someone who knows about apache to cross compile for the N800 platform? Can it?
