my favorite apps are mussorgsky(create album covers easily)and transmission(really good working and bugfree torrent client)

The most used here is Gpodder with Panucci as player. Oh and then there is fMMS.

Phone Speaker Switcher.

Just select proximity under settings and leave the rest blank, and during a call if you take the phone away from your ear it automatically switches the sound to the external speakers. Brilliant.

Also the calendar home widget- what the original calendar widget should have been.
