i was in club XD stuffed with a bit od coctails and my n900 fell out of my hands.. nothing spectacular but after thet screen died... it just went blank... no picutre, no lights... nothing... but touch DOES work and you can use it and normaly if you plug it to tv out...


i dissmantled it and didnt find any problems... put it back together and it still doesnt work =/


any ideas?

yeah open it up and unplug the screen and reconnect it. worth a shot, but be carefull

Huh he said he dismantled it and put it back together lol so cant be the screen ribbon so the only thing left is the backlight has gone oc.

bought a new phone....

as i said... i opend it and didnt find any problems... put it back together.. and still no luck...
