If it's unplugged you got it all figured out.
Plugged in, another option besides unplugging would be...
shutdown -r 0
...from xterm w/ root.

When I power down using the "Switch Off" option, does it reboot the next time it power on? If not how do I do a fresh boot of the unit - I have scanned the manual and looked through the forums and haven't located anything helpful.
Your help would be greatly appreciated!
