You'll have enormous fun!
I'm currently writing stuff in Python and QT - the n900 can be used for almost anything!
Just installed the lighttpd web server on it too! All I need to do now is stream the camera to the web server and then I'll have a portablew web cam!

P.S. All I need now is PHP and mysql and I'll have a portable "LAMP" stack!
