First, you might try a message header more descriptive than Hello!
There doesn't seem to be a clear trend about which SDHC cards are more reliable than which others.
You will be able to launch Microb instead of Opera, but Minimo is another story. Microb is what you want, anyway, though Minimo is ok. Microb is as close as you can come to Firefox on this computer.
If I were you, I would not buy superhigh (8gb) capacity SDHC cards, because you might lose your whole investment in them. But a 2 or 4 GB card will probably work out for you, and you are risking less.
Maybe someone will come forward and say that such and such an SDHC card is dead reliable, but since I lost my 4 GB Transcend card, I give up for now, till I get bored or the risk seems diminished.

I have 2GB PNY cards in both slots that I bought for like $20 at Wal-Mart. So far, they haven't died, but I don't do a lot of intensive access to them, just the occasional load or save of a file.

Are the problems that are occurring with the cards that the data is becoming corrupted? If this is the case does it sort the problem out with a reformat?
If this is the only issue then i can just do backups of the data and reformat and restore the data.
If the issue is more serious and its completely destroying the cards then surely Nokia are legally liable to replace the card for you?

Cards have been completely destroyed. I'm sure you would have a lot of fun fighting this out in court and proving that Nokia is responsible -- why don't you try it and let us know what happens? Maybe you would find out that Nokia isn't responsible, but your expenditure of all that money in court costs would be helpful to the community and we would thank you for it

Do we know any figures on this?
If a large percentage of users are all having the same problem then Nokia would have to accept it.
I bought 2 cards anyway and i'll see how it goes.

As long as Nokia denies it, technically the problem does not exist as far as they or the legal system are concerned until someone takes action to prove otherwise. Seen this kind of thing with Apple happen many times over the years of being a Mac user, but they almost always eventually buckle under the weight of public outcry. Only time will tell if the same holds true with Nokia. My bet is they will quietly push a fix out the door before they ever admit it.
I've been reading a few threads on memory cards and am concerned that if i buy some they will get trashed because of the problems people have had with them on this device.
I wondered what the current state of things were regarding this and what you guys generally advise.
Are certain manufacturers cards proving to be more reliable than others? Is there any you can recommend?
Regarding the browser, i see there are a few alternatives out there to Opera, but is it possible once i install Minimo for instance, to be able to launch Minimo instead of Opera when i click one of the links on the web button?
