With N810 we have maemo-mapper-topomaps-fi package what provides finish topographical maps to maemo-mapper. Could we get that package to N900 too!
OR, if someone would add that map repository to normal repositories in N900.

Thank you!

Maybe this helps: http://wiki.maemo.org/Maemo-mapper_topomaps
(works well in N900 with Mappero)

For me topomaps link stopped working either because of new Mappero version or Maemo 5 PR1.2 update. I got new URL from my colleague. I did not notice any difference between old and new URL. Copy with Notes application corrupted link. I copied with Nokia browser and it worked again after that.

I cannot get it work.. I have PR1.2 and Mappero 3.0+beta8 and if I add new TILES selection (NLS) it disapear from list after reboot of mappero.
If I try to add new map repository directly after inserting new tiles, whole Mappero crashes (and all changes disappear)

Could please anyone who has these maps working post here the output of this command:

gconftool-2 --get /apps/maemo/maemo-mapper/tile_sources_data

Then I can easily make these maps available to everyone.

Here you are...

http://tableteer.nokia.com:80 NLS 20O8 @topomaps.tableteer.nokia.com/_tTilesD/%0d/%d/%d.jpg

<cache_dir>NLS</cache_dir>
<transparent>0</transparent>
<format>JPEG</format>
<type>XYZ_INV</type>
<refresh>0</refresh>
</TileSource>
</TileSources>

Please note that the URL is special and it contains quite many white spaces. Here you can find the URL which needs to be copied as such:

I have experienced also same issue than jjussi with NLS topomaps repository adding. No success so far. Have tried everything including Mappero unistall, purge and reinstall. Always Mappero crashes after layers are defined and repository added. When started again, NLS repo has disappeared. No matter is there 49 or 50 white spaces
Thanks jussihoo and mardy.

Ok, I added the Finnish topomaps to the list of available repositories, and updated the wiki page with instructions on how to get them.
So, once more, the magical link:

These maps are an amazing addition to the best mapping software currently available for the N900. Thanks!
