It's not really pointless, I'm just trying to discourage you from asking stupid questions, where stupid is defined as "something that is either obvious or asked so many times you can type it into the search box instead".

Any idea how annoying it is to come here to see "what's new" and it's just 20 topics with the same old crap questions from yesterday? "Why is Nokia bad"?. "How do I edit a file?". "I want to talk about apple."

Anyways, for what it's worth, I'm sorry I assumed you are blind and stupid, I didn't think that maybe we had different versions of the same app, and yours is missing the button. Hopefully you actually figured that out rather than jumping directly to typing insults to me.

Anyways, I'll go away and make a post in one of the technical sections about how to get a wife/gf or have sex with my phone since i'm sure nobody has asked that before...

xomm, in the future, you may want to link people to the wiki page for adding the repositories (especially devel/testing). It's generally frowned upon to show people how to do it directly since that circumvents the large warnings about using non-stable development code found on the wiki page...

ah, that's where it's hidden. Just tried to use it but from the first glance it looks a bit weird and complicated. If it's the only way to disable the red light then I'll need to invest some time tomorrow to figure that out.

BTW, would be nice to have a kind of tip where to find just installed app. Since now there are many places where it can land.

some apps aren't set up to appear in the menu or anywhere, and there is certainly nowhere other than "uninstall" you will see them outside of the terminal in this case. I know this may come as a shock to you, but I will once again refer you to the search box, and perhaps a recommendation to read the instructions for the apps you are unsure about. As much as we all enjoy pretending to be search engines for people like you, I think you will receive a faster and more polite response from the search box or google...
