Hi All, I was just curious, I want to purchase SENNHEISER CX 550 Style II, but as I'm in the US, I cannot find them for cheap, I found couple of them on ebay for around $45, but I don't know if they are real or fake. Any websites that any of you might know that sell GENUINE headphones and are reasonably cheap?

Thanks in advance,

Priyank

Does anyone know of a good adapter that has a mic and volume controls that works with the n900? Finding a good set of headphones isn't a problem for me, finding a solution that allows me to take calls and pause/play music etc is... I've been looking at the Shure SE115m:http://www.shure.com/americas/produc...-mobile/se115m but it is my understanding that the controls don't work with the N900.

I also noticed this adapter from Shure:http://www.shure.com/americas/produc...-phone-adapter

Does anyone know if either version of the adapter will work with the N900?

Nothing for the iPhone will work. In fact, nothing wired seems to work apart from the stock, not even Nokia's jacked remotes - BT seems to be the only way of getting functionality like this. Whenever I'm using the N900 as my main phone, I therefore have high-end IEM's running off the Nokia BH-214 at the moment, which is clearly lunacy given the sonic limitations of Bluetooth.

If you find something, let us all know as I'm defo looking for a 3.5mm jacked, wired, mic'd remote - and being unable to unearth one, it's just one of the reasons I'm thinking about putting the N900 on the scrapheap. It may be a nerd's delight, but there's too many of the basics it does abysmally, or not at all.
