Here's an interesting problem with the bookmark screen scrolling.

It scrolls to the bottom of the list then goes crazy for a second (scrolling up and down really fast) then jumps up to the beginning of the list. A reboot solved the issue but closing the browser didn't. The video doesn't really capture the mad up/down scrolling as it happens extremely fast.

The more I use this device the more I think they should've simply used regular scrolling. The browser scrolls perfectly if you drag your finger on the screen. If you do a flick though and it starts doing the kinetic scrolling it slows down to a couple frames a second.

yeah same prob here...and in many other lists, it is choppy. esp emails. but its something small, and hopefully it will be fixed soon..

have a problem entering text in fields when the browser opens a website, it freezes for awhile after you select the area to enter but u hear the typing noise, and after awhile all the text appears, or is laggy.

Has anyone managed to resolve the bookmarks scroll bug?

I had that not long ago and was thinking of reporting here. But when I checked again bfore posting here, it was gone so didn't bother and I dont remember doing anything to fix it

The thread "bookmarks scroll bug" with 5 posts has been merged into this thread. (Posts #4 - #8).

If you encounter a bug, please file it at the Maemo bugtracker; simply posting it here won't get it much attention or help.

(I've encountered this a couple times before, but can't reproduce it, so I'm not the best candidate to submit the bug.)
