when i do that line it says
mv: cannot rename '.mupen64plus/*': no such file or directory

really annoying me lol ive got every other emu working i just wanna play zelda oot.
just completed zelda link to the past 4 sword... what a game!!![/QUOTE]

hmm, try
Code:
rmdir Mupen64Plus
and the again the mkdir

but I'm not sure if I can help you if it doesn't work.

The emu worked for me, after i installed the RenPy for libsdl and figured my mistake with the "wget"

I think i figured it out now.
Code:
rm -rf Mupen64Plus
to remove the directory.
then start with the mkdir again.

dont take the * out. I removed everything with mupen and set it up new, and it worked again, so tell me where you stuck, so i can help you.

Don't change anything on the commands, just copy&paste

you need to tap in the xterm on the top of the window, and in the menu use "paste".

mv: cannot rename 'mupen64plus/*': no such file or directory
Well, did you create the directory?

you can copy from the browser like this:
slide your finger from left outside the screen to the screen, a cursor will appear. tap it. Now you can select text and copy it with ctrl+v.

To paste in the term tap the top UI thingie and select... paste.
hint: you can copy&paste multiple lines in the term. (And use TAB to autocomplete)
hint2:
Code:
ln -s /home/user/.mupen64plus/mupen64plus /bin/mupen64plus
now you can run Mupen without typing the full path
