Works a treat here

Some of the streams do give "video format not supported" errors. I wonder if switching to mplayer would be better?

there is a way to make it use mplayer instead. I'll wager that they are using mobile formats which the N800 doesn't have support for. Perhaps we'll get support soon.

Edit: Streaming from Break.com doesn't seem to work, however downloading the full video and then watching it (easy as hell with this new app) worked perfectly.

Installed the Video Center without problems, set the memory to memory cards, and the player to external (/usr/bin/mplayer).
it works ok.

In Tools ->Services I added the MobuzzTV and the feed worked well.

If you press on the Services Catalogue image in the botom left you get the Nokia web page with the information of other video sources you can add (e.g. MobuzzTV).

I had initially some problems to play the videos I downloaded, but if you press the My Videos icon, the tool displays the My Videos in full screen and I had no problem playing the videos.

If anyone knows some other sources of Videos and Internet TV we can add in the list let us know.

I found that after downloading a video to the MMC card, it shows in "My Videos" but won't play from there. If I choose the file manually using Open from the menu, it plays fine... ?

EDIT: This is the same as pressing the "My Videos" icon mentioned above.

Works fine for me, though I have it downloading to the internal MMC.

OK, I just discovered and downloaded this thing about five minutes before I had to head to work so I haven't had a chance to play with it yet, but I just discovered that Geekbrief is on one of the default channels. Huzzah! Happy already, but they need to get the Youtube service up there soon. I guess (hope) they're busily formatting all the channels from their Symbian brothers for use on the NIT right now. If they do this right this thing is gonna be killer.

Here´s a link to a video of the features soon to be implemented. I tell you if this thing really get's it's legs under it, any little sliver of desire I had to even consider taking a second glance at the iPod Touch will have completely vanished.

I second that. This is one of those "killer applications" if you ask me, that could breathe new life into Maemo. I've never had an easy way of watching video podcasts, so I always considered them a novelty. I mean, why waste time downloading something to watch it later? Why not download and watch when you want it?

Now I'm actively searching out the best feeds to add to it.

The descriptions need to identify what Video Center does and what makes it different from other apps. The Applications Manager description only says "Video Center for Linux." So why use it instead of other video players? Or is it a TV schedule app and doesn't actually play videos?
