Hello,

I can't find the FM transmitter under the settings menu, anyone knows what is going on?

Its in the Media player menu.

Where are you based? the transmitter was disabled for some terratories/countries.

A friend got me the phone from china, is this the problem? is there a way to enable it? I tried flashing the device with the middle east firmware, but sill there is no FM Transmitter anywhere in the menu.

Try the global firmware maybe.

If you have a version of N900 where the FM transmitter is disabled you can install FMTX Faker which will re-enable it.

guess you got a Hong Kong ver where dont allow to have FM transmitter.

What I said, use FMTX Faker.

For some reason I didn't see your first post when i wrote my previous post.

I downloaded FMTX Faker from http://maemo.org/packages/view/fmtx-faker/

Everything is working great now
