You should have put an option there: Don't know..because I really don't know. It's between Android and Meego for me. I will see what Meego offers. So far I love Maemo, so if Meego is similar, I'll go for it.

Don't go for the iPhone then please. You'll be very disappointed with their hardware support

<voice style=G1-Megatron> Refrain from speaking to me as through I were a dolt! I've clearly resisted purchasing an iPhone so far and I don't foresee purchasing one in the future. It's completely incompatible with me.</voice>

Although, I will give them props for hardware support as far as replacement parts, immediate warranty replacement, walk-in stores/presence and even people to talk to face-to-face to get help and support in those stores, etc. Nokia is light-years away from that.

The future will tell.

Meego, but I'm very close to ditch anything Nokia related and go to Android.

this should have been a poll that allows multiple answers.

i'm sure i'll get a non-touchscreen symbian phone for daily use once my 6110 navi dies. c5 looks good.

for paying around and as a mobile computer, meego will do.

none of the options you listed is a good phone os for a main device. all touch-screen, big, power-hungry.

Undecided. It will come down to product, price and my faith in MeeGo's continuity. It's up to Nokia really, but so far I feel they are gently pushing me towards Android.

Assuming the Oct release of Meego is fully compatible with N900, I'll happily give it a go for a few months. I'm confident Meego is going to be a serious contender in the mobile os market. Frankly, Nokia can't afford for it to be anything but a success.

I believe (live in hope) that Nokia wil show unequivical support for the Meego platform as well as the future handsets they bring to market running Meego.

This obviously means ensuring that they release slick pc support software, OVI store is fully compatible and crammed with excellent apps and that regular os updates are released in good time.

Given we Maemo N900 users often feel totally abandoned by Nokia, I really do hope they'll take away some lessons from the Maemo experience and get firmly behind Meego and not just view it as another "experimental" os

So far it is kinda clear that the people in this forum dont want Apple controling the entire user experience.

If lets just hope Nokia hits the nail with MeeGo (and by MeeGo I dont mean Harmattan).
