I've had both. But usually it runs extremely smoothly. I think the times it did lag I had a couple processes (non-system) running.

I've played it a quite a bit, the only time it lagged at all was when I got an SMS, and once when the IM client randomly decided to reconnect. Otherwise it was smooth (and really, those two things disrupt everything whenever they happen).

As for the resolution, no, it's not the best, but it's not distracting either. Given the choice of a high-res image vs making the game lag, I'd take the lower res with no lag. I think they've made a trade-off here, and it's one most people will agree with.

If anybody gets the "Unable to install Towerbloxx" message in the app manager, just delete the demo.

This game is not perfect but definetly worth a purchase, if we had another 50 or so games of this standard presentation etc available via ovi for N900 and I would feel like they were actually botherd about supporting N900....

Who is "they"? This is up to the developers to feel that making the games will be worth their while as people will buy them and not just pirate them. Moral of the story: buy commercial products available for the device as it is already hampered by its nature as a niche product

Is the full (paid) version available yet?

Edit:
Nevermind, found it on Ovi!

I suppose I mean Nokia/Ovi, they have hardly been sucessful in making the N900 a commercially viable option for commercial game developers. maybe user numbers do not attract the right people, but games like this and angry birds can run on any touch screen phone with right spec, so why are so few games ported to N900. I would be interested to see how many people have purchased this and angry birds level pack....

It is a shame that the tower blocks aren't really 3D....
The game isnt smooth for me (900mhz), in fact the previous version of this game back on my N95 wasn't smooth either

Digital Chocolate made amazing games for symbian, which included brilliant Tornado and Roller Coaster ones. Hope to see them 'ported' and refreshed on maemo/N900.

Cheers,
Ralph
