So I'm currently thinking about buying the N900. Thing is, I'd like to use it as a mobile gaming device as well as a phone, mainly because it actually has buttons to play with unlike other phones on the market. I am aware of the fact that not many games are being developed for the N900, but there seems to be a fair amount of emulators in development.
However, I am concerned about how good the keyboard is for gaming. I've read it's great for typing messages and stuff, but none of the reviews I came accross ever mentioned comfort while gaming. And by gaming I mean playing games on an SNES or GBA emulator, not just Blocks or Bounce. So can anyone who actually owns an N900 let me know about their experience ?

About emulators of some console (GBA, snes, SEGA) The N900 keyboard is perfect. But concerning Nintendo 64 and psOne you better have to buy a PS3 pad by the way!!! due to the 3D view in these consoles and due to the lack of joystick or touchscreen support, I think it's a bit hard to play with the keyboard! But you can still replace the joystick by the accelerometer!!!

I've found that the keyboard is a little cramped for gaming. Also, having the d-pad on the right takes some getting used to, unless you set the directional buttons to wasd. I personally have started setting left right to d and f, and up and down to j and k so I can do diagonals easier. That is really the one thing that makes the n900 spectacular for gaming is that you can map just about anything.

As for sixaxis support, that looks like it would be perfect for gaming, but it's not as portable as some would like.
