Hi All,

I just bought an sandisk 8 GB SDHC card for my N900. I have inserted the card on my N900 but it does not find that at all.

But when i use the adaptor and put it on my WIN 7 pc it finds it immediately and i am able to use it.

I searched in this forum but differnt answers and everyone's issue was different. Should i format the card first or do i need to do something else?

Please help ......

You'll need to format it to FAT32 before the N900 see's it.

Hi,

I did quick format with FAT32 file system and re inserted the SDHC, still my N900 does not see it?

Is it a Hardware issue?

Is the magnet that hold the kickstand still there?

can anyone help please ? Does the phone's backcover misses anything?

I could not see /dev/emcblk1 listed on phone at all. Searched in the forum but unable find a solution I am looking for.

Open up terminal and type mount. It should be /dev/mmcblk1 mounted on /media/mmc1

If it can't see it then the card reader in your device is faulty.
