Hi,

Has anyone managed to get music in the ATRAC format working on the N900 ?

My Music library is nearly all in ATRAC (years of Sonicstage use with Sony Walkmans).

I've done some looking into it and I think it's either a case of putting the ATRAC codec in a particular folder or using another Music player instead of the default one that has ATRAC support?

Any other ideas/suggestions?

Thanks.

MPlayer should play ATRAC3 files.
Have extra decoders installed? it includes gstreamer0.10-rm, for playing real files

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.

I have music files in the Music folder (actually they have a .OMA extension - is this a problem), but the Standard Media Player doesn't play them.

I've installed MPlayer Movie Player and SiB...but these only allow me to play Video files?

Thanks.

Hi,

Think I might have found the issue - My music files have some kind of DRM that only allows them to be played on certain Music players.

Thanks.
