N900 may work without back cover (with back cover off). Photograph attached.

Look on the bright side. Now your photos won't be affected by the camera flash reflecting on the chrome.

Bah! Same thing happened to me today. The "L" shaped clip fell off. I have both epoxy and a glue gun handy, so now I just have to try and decide which to use. Don't know if I'll do the straight clip in-place, rip it off and put glue underneath it, or just wait until it falls off naturally

I always had a fear about this breaking on mine, they seem pretty flimsy gl with fixing it mate

If your glue gun doesn't have much better glue than the ones I know, use the epoxy. And don't forget to de-grease first!

The glue gun may still be handy to hold it in place while the epoxy hardens though.

I had mine fall off just today!!!!
i used *that, heated on the kitchen **stove and applied ***there
worked like a charm, i think even better than glue, though i wish i had both..
