This is not about 6 euros. This is about an app being 6 times the price of the exact app on a different platform. I knew about sales and competition, and it is perfectly reasonable for a price difference..but 6 times the normal price? That's a steal.

Wouldn't you be mad if a game costing 30 euros on xbox, costs you 180 euros for ps3? The ratio is the same..and this is why I won't buy it. Not unless they reduce price for Maemo or increase price for iiphone to make the ratio a bit more..reasonable.
you can't compare iPhone and N900 like ps3 and x0...

better analogy would be psp/ds vs pandora....

Excellent point. Rovio is private company and it has required money from them to get angry birds working in N900 in the first place.

and if you can't pay them 6 euros for all levels, why should they develope anything to N900?

pantera1989, you don't think it's worth it? You think it's overpriced? You're an idiot.

It's the ****** Apple store that _underprices_ everything to the point it means people can't actually make any real money on there.

I will buy every level pack for angry birds, the price they set £1.50 is well worth the enjoyment I get out of the game. I don't care if the iPhone app store has it for less for those bunch of under appreciative losers.

EDIT:
Maybe idiot is a bit harsh, but it does show you're not willing to support developers of quality software for this device. Just because Apple are playing limbo with app prices.

Tswindell: I couldn't agree you more. I just hope Rovio will release more quality titles also to N900.

Devs choose their prices on the App Store. Blame the market for low prices! OUTRAGEOUS NEAR 'PERFECT MARKET' APP STORE.

Updates will appear on your N900 in the same way as normal. It's just that the Angry Birds version in the Ovi store is not actually an updated version - it's the same old version, but with an incorrect description (claiming it's new). When the new version is actually made available, you'll be able to update via App Manager.

@Rob1n, yep thanks for clarification. I just uninstalled my A/birds but when reinstalling can only find v1.1.0 - so this is a description error on Ovi Store (or a description error in the file versioning - which seems much less likely).

This may be because the updates that are going through Ovi QA are almost ready to be uploaded. And the system is now showing the new version numbers. That'd be my guess.

But why should they remove the old version and upload the old version again, then?
