my n800 all of a sudden wont turn on.
I didnt do anything before this happened, I just plugged it in to charge over night. and in the morning it wont turn on.

The screen is just black, If i plug in the charger now the blue Nokia on white background displays, but only for a second or so, then it goes black again. if I leave it plugged in the blue nokia on white background will show up again after while, but still only for a second or so. I left it plugged in for a while, and it didn't change.
I have two nokia chargers, so they arent the problem.

Have you tried to take out the battery for a couple of seconds? After returning the battery and closing the back cover, switch on the N800 without a charger plugged in. I had once similar symptoms after an overnight charge.

Yah, I tried taking out the battery and then starting it, no luck. LEDs even stay dark.

If I try holding down the power button right after i plug in the charger the LEDs turn on and brighten up, and the Nokia Logo shows up on the display, but only for a few seconds too.

The response I just got from Nokia was less then helpful, They told me to bring the phone back to the store I bought it from in Hongkong. Which is very unhelpful, because I didnt buy it from hongkong, I got it from Thailand. When I was in Hongkong and went to a big Nokia store there, near Times Square Mall, the nokia people had never even seen an N800 before.
I was in SE for a few months, but I wont be back there for atleast a year.

So Nokia support is complete garbage. I hadn't installed or flashed or done anything weird to my n800, it just stopped working, no lights at all turn on when I hold the power down, and nokia will not help at all.

Go put buy a nokia charger and try that. The charger that came with my n800 broke on day 2 and i thought it was a device problem also...

Ok, I might try that cause im desperate. Even though I have two chargers here, one could be broken, and the other I just got is for an older nokia phone, it has the big connector, but i have an adapter for it, so I thought it would work...

No I havent, will that be possible?

This happened to me too, with the symptoms you describe.

Have you had both Nokia chargers tested to confirm that they are working properly?

I havent had them tested, but before my n800 stopped working I had just gone on an internet shopping spree, I purchased an extra battery and external charger and a case, ect... so I think Ill just wait till those arrive.
