I have a 770 running 2006.49 from a 2GB MMC card and am trying to get USB networking going properly. I have successfully installed maemo-dm and got the USB networking to my PC going OK, so I can SSH & WinSCP to the 770.
However, I currently have a few problems which perhaps someone may be able to help with :
1. When I connect via USB Networking, the MMC VFAT partition gets unmounted, as when USB STorage mode is in use. I have tried in vain to discover the script to edit to stop the MMC being unmounted. Any idea which script I need to edit to stop this, or where I need to add a new script to re-mount it? If I open a terminal after connecting the USB Networking, and mount it manually all works fine.
2. Maemo-dm works fine to switch from MMC to USbNet, and I can then use USB Networking, but when I try to go back to MMC mode, the 770 hangs and a battery out reboot is required. If I go MMC->USBNet, and then switch back without connecting the USB cable it works OK. Any ideas?
