I was installing kile in easy debian and left it there to install becuase it required a number of packages. during the install it must have ran out of battery. Now kile complains when I try to run it. is there a way of reinstalling all the packages that kile depends on or chacking if there are any broken packages?

You might want to try "apt-get install --reinstall kile" if it's available in Easy Debian.

I reinstalled kile but unfortunatly it didn't fix it. so I thought that perhaps the other packages that it needed are broken. is there a way I can reinstall all the packages that kile needs again as well as kile itself?
