So I was at the park playing volleyball and left my baby on the ground...came back to find it gone...call the phone but it was turned off...I knew it then it was stolen...(the bastard who took it will never realize the full potential of this mobile computer...what a waste on his part..)

So I went out and bought a used mytouch3g...why? cuz I can't justify spending another 300+ for another n900. Also the single fact that my house has bad receptions and I could barely hear people when talking to them in my house. This was the first nokia device/phone that was giving me trouble. Even when I have good reception, some call will be super low and I have to put on speaker just to hear them. It might just be a hardware problem. If it wasn't for this problem, I would have buy another n900 already. (and I only spent 100 for the mytouch...I know...I know...it's almost 1/3 of the n900 already...I guess 1/3 of price will only yield 1/3 of usabillity...)

Using android just made me realize how much it sucks. Not to bad mouth them but the browser doesn't compare to microb at all. I can't believe I regretted choosing N900 over Nexus One. The only thing android and iphone have on the N900 really is the appstore/market...

So the lesson? Um...bring a cheapo phone with you to the park instead of your precious baby...lol...I should be laughing but it's the only way to mask the hurt...

Sorry to hear about your loss

Did you call your service provider and report the stolen phone, so they can block it from being used.

dude report it as stolen right away, you don't want to be liable for any extra charges they make. also i think if you report it stolen to the police there is some chance they will recover it and return it to you one day, usually thieves get caught eventually.

Charges nothing. The device might be implicated in something illegal. It's unlikely you'll be blamed, but, if nothing else, you'll have to donate some time to writing detailed accounts of your whereabouts.

Also, the charges.

Report it stolen. If it returns, you can report it unstolen.

sorry to hear that yo. but they are right. should report that the device is stolen on the spot, if found, report again.

but if the one who picked that up has a golden heart, should've get a number from your contacts and try to call.

DIdn't buy insurance...lol...I usually always have the phone in my pocket or always right next to me or playing with it all the time..people even get mad at me for playing with it too much sometime...the one time I let my guard down...hmm...sad....I would be more angry at myself if I got it wet or drop...but stolen...just being at the wrong place and the wrong time...I guess I will report it to Nokia...
