i modified /etc/kismet/kismet.conf to log to a csv file format only, instead of the default dump, network, csv, xml, weak, cisco, gps. then i ran kismet and opened the log created with gnumeric.

much to my dismay, the csv file format is not adhered to. it is more in a ssv (semi-colon seperated values) format.

i dont see anything in the config file about changing the delimiter from semi ( to comma (,). is that a hard-coded "feature" or does anyone know how to change the delimiter in kismet?

Yep, it's hard coded as semi-colon.

SEARCH! It's probably already been answered.

ok, so i am guessing i am not going to be able to coerce anyone into changing that. is there anyone who is good at sed/awk/grep type command line work that can point me in a direction for a search and replace script? basically, find all semis and replace with commas?
